The difference s that when you are tired and look awful and have small baby there isn't much you can do about it, aside from getting more sleep, which obviously a problem, or you would get more sleep.
None of that applies to a haircut. That's just a choice.

How is that different from pointing out when, in YOUR opinion, one needs a, lets say, haircut, for example????

I emphasize with you, I really do! Staying up from 3:00 to about 3:45 is NOT fun! (especially when you have to get up at 7:15 to catch the bus)
